Honour for TTC Group Chairman
TTC Group chairman Graham Wynn OBE has been honoured for his work on behalf of the community.
He has been awarded the John Clayton Award 2017 in recognition of his outstanding individual contribution to life in Shropshire.
It was really important that a business should be part of the community it serves, Graham told an audience at the Shropshire Business Awards.
“Some businesses don’t feel they have the time to do that but I feel it’s very important and it’s part of the TTC Group’s DNA.”
“I didn’t expect this award and it is a real honour for me as John Clayton was a very good friend and I had an awful lot of respect for him.”
The award is in memory of Mr Clayton, who died in 2014, and who campaigned for his county throughout his life. He was a former president of the Shropshire Chamber of Commerce and chairman of a number of organisations.
