Victim Awareness Scheme and Case Management

The TTC Victim Awareness Scheme is an effective option for Conditional Cautions and Community Remedy

What is the intervention?

In partnership with Restorative Solutions CIC we work with adult offenders who have been subject to Community Resolution, Conditional Caution or as part of an outcome agreement from a Community Justice Panel or local equivalent.

The intervention is often with first time offenders who have committed a low-level offence. The aim of the course is to prevent further offending by those who attend.

The course successfully delivers a message about the impact and potential impact of crime on victims, the consequences or potential consequences to those who commit crime and explains what Restorative Justice is and its benefits.

Each course is interactive and responds to delegate needs. The group work is designed so that individuals can discuss the issues and contribute effectively. We makes use of a range of media and recognise the varying learning ability of delegates.

There are a maximum of 12 participants on each course and we have the capability to reduce or increase the service as required.
