Police

We deliver high quality training at scale across the UK on behalf of our police force partners, local authorities and courts including National Driver Offender Retraining Scheme (NDORS) courses, Drink Drive Rehabilitation Scheme (DDRS) plus a range of courses for Out of Court Resolutions.

For over 30 years, we’ve delivered high-quality training at scale across the UK. More police forces trust TTC to deliver their National Driver Offender Retraining Scheme (NDORS) courses than any other provider.

As the appointed NDORS provider for 13 of the UK’s 43 police forces, plus Transport for London – we’re also the largest nationally approved provider of both the Drink Drive Rehabilitation Scheme (DDRS) and Courses for Drink Drive Offenders (CDDO).

Our training also supports community safety initiatives, working with police commissioners and partners to develop innovative road safety programmes that help build safer communities. We deliver a range of out-of-court resolution courses, including Victim Awareness, Drugs Education, and Hate Crime Courses – available both online and in person, delivered by a network of 700+ trainers nationwide.

Thank you for the hard work and notable effort from the whole team in delivering the evidence required for the Annual Provider Review (APR), for 2025, which took place on 3rd June 2025 at our Head Office. It was good to see you both. This year also represents the relicensing of TTC. This is an opportunity to ensure that you are meeting the responsibilities and obligations of the provider licence agreement. It is reassuring that your approach to the Scheme highlights your commitment to ensure that each client has an opportunity to redress their earlier on road behaviour. The APR thematic also focused on four areas: Service Delivery, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, Trainer Capability and Welsh Language Service and it is clear from the report that these areas are being delivered to a high standard. This was highlighted by the noted good practice regarding your commitment to utilising venues in the community and further reassessing other locations. It was noticeable how you go above and beyond in support of clients who require reasonable adjustments to enable their equal participation in a course. It is pleasing to note that overwhelmingly, you are continuing to deliver at a consistently high standard. Thank you for your support in providing the behavioural change courses and more widely contributing towards road safety across England and Wales.

Well worth attending even for experienced drivers. The course tutor was friendly and made the whole experience interesting. The facts about speeding distance and braking distance was a real eye opener. Another fact is that 93% of all traffic accidents are caused by the motorist!! He didn’t take any prisoners and made other attendees aware that they were expected to take part or be deleted from the course. When I was first given the opportunity to either pay a fine or attend the course I was really reluctant especially when the course lasts 2 hours and 45 minutes, however the time passed really quickly and I’m sure everyone took something away from the course. It has made me more aware of how speeding can affect so many lives.
