Training

We deliver accredited training across regulated sectors, including construction, health and safety, driver development, and leadership training.

Our methodology

At the core of everything we do is a proven methodology – Assess, Analyse, Mitigate, Monitor and Optimise – a continuous improvement cycle that ensures every learning intervention is targeted, effective, and measurable.

This methodology focuses on developing and strengthening the four critical components of workforce competence: skills, knowledge, experience, and behaviours. By applying this cycle, we help organisations build, evidence, and sustain capability while reducing operational risk.

Our methodology in action

Assess: Utilising competency frameworks to understand the needs and current skills, knowledge, experience, and behaviours  alongside capturing data through pre-course assessments, telematics, learner surveys, or manager feedback to establish a baseline of needs and performance.

Analyse: Identify trends and gaps in skills, knowledge, experience, and behaviours, supported by learner and operational data, to determine where targeted learning interventions can drive the greatest performance impact.

Mitigate: Deliver targeted learning solutions using the most appropriate approach to address identified skill, knowledge, experience, or behavioural gaps – ensuring interventions are applied effectively and efficiently to build sustainable capability.

Monitor: Track outcomes and development in skills, knowledge, experience, and behaviours through data ingestion, feedback loops, assessments, SLAs, and regular check-ins to evaluate effectiveness and behavioural change.

Optimise: Refine and extend support by enhancing learning, personalising interventions, reinforcing desired skills, knowledge, experience, and behaviours, and aligning future learning to evolving needs and performance insights.

We develop Learning using our unique COMITRA methodology

To build true competence in regulated and safety-critical environments, all of the Comitra methodology is developed together:

  • Check Knowledge: Assess current knowledge and identify gaps.
  • Own Attitudes: Align Mindset, motivation and goals and focus on the right behaviours.
  • Map Skills: Analyse and define the specific skills to develop.
  • Individualise Learning: Tailor training, experiences and pathways to meet individual or team needs, employing the right delivery methods for effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Train & Try: Engage in practical development, exercises and hands-on experience.
  • Reflect & Review: Monitor progress, get feedback and adjust to optimise outcomes.
  • Apply & Advance: Embed knowledge and skills into real‑world contexts and evolve them for future growth opportunities.

Our learning interventions aim to target all methodologies so competence is complete, measurable and sustainable.

Learning delivery – sector-specific and cross-sector

Learning is a Core Element

Learning is a core element of our Assess–Analyse–Mitigate–Monitor–Optimise methodology, applied consistently to develop Skills, Knowledge, Experience, and Behaviours.

Target Skills and Knowledge gaps for safety-critical roles.
Identify high-risk Behaviours and design targeted interventions.
Track and evidence SKEB progression for compliance.
Monitor SKEB development over time.
Maintain capability through timely refreshers.
Keep Skills and Knowledge current with prompts and reminders.
Provide regulators with clear, verifiable evidence of SKEB competence.

Our Competency Management Ecosystem

All learning activity is embedded within our Competency Management Ecosystem, where data is continuously collected, analysed, and acted upon. This creates a closed-loop process where workforce capability is strengthened through the constant application of our methodology – Assess → Analyse → Mitigate → Monitor → Optimise – with SKEB at the core of every intervention.
